Osmocote is a pellet fertilizer that is safe for use with carnivorous Sarracenia and Nepenthes. You will receive one 3" x 5" resealable kraft bag containing 3 Tablespoons of fertilizer made up of tiny time-release pellets. Osmocote can be used on most Nepenthes & Sarracenia. Nepenthes should be fertilized with one pellet in a pitcher once they are large enough to handle it without burning up, such as the medium stage. For Sarracenia, put for pellets in each pot at the beginning of Spring and once again in four months and then allow to go dormant when the time comes.
Directions for Use:
For Nepenthes: Place one or two pellets in each pitcher that appears. Three may be used on large pitchers. If using two pellets burns the pitcher, then leave it alone and let it continue to absorb what is available in that pitcher and then decrease to one per pitcher for a while, until they get bigger. While you may lose that pitcher, the plant will still benefit from the fertilizer that is absorbed by the plant. These are time-release pellets and will only need to be given to each pitcher once in the entire life of that particular pitcher.
For Sarracenia: Push two to four pellets in the soil of a 4” - 6” pot in the Spring and then four more again in four and a half months, at the halfway point of their nine months outside of dormancy. Only fertilize twice per year and four and a half months apart. We do not recommend soil feeding for any other type of carnivorous plants. Better to foliar feed the others with Maxsea.

Not as durable as it could be, but fun

Our 55 lb lab has fun with this toy, but it's not lasting long. The ball itself is hard plastic and the yellow rubber wrap around it has already been chewed through n several places. It did come with a fabric cover, but that, too, is not durable. Would not recommend leaving with your dog unattended as they could eat the rubber off in no time. But to bring out occasionally while watching the dog, which is what we do, it does provide some fun for all!

Durable enough for my dog's tough play. She loves this interactive ball.

I love these interactive ball toys. My dog gets so excited and engaged with them. I went through 3 of them that my dog destroyed in a short time. They simply were not durable enough for her tough play. So far, we have had this one for a few weeks, it is holding up and withstands her chewing and rough play, and she loves it. It keeps her busy for a long time.

Great toy for old dogs
Color: Yellow
Great to bring a old dog back to his old self. Have a 10 yr old who has a little shoulder pain but needs a little light excitement. This did the trick, he paws it a little and enjoys moving it around. It can take his biteing without breaking.
Hopeing our small dog whos afraid of it will watch and get over her fear. She learns everything from him.

Updated: not worth it. Disappointed!

Update: since I wrote my first review, I have to revise it. My puppy has chewed through the rubber case that surrounds the ball mechanism. I literally watched her chew through two sections in under a minute. I had to take it away from her and she’s so upset. I’m disappointed as it was a great distraction toy. Now it’s trash.
Absolutely the best interactive dog toy. My 5 1/2 month old puppy loves this toy. It’s the perfect size for her. She rolls and chews on it happily. Unfortunately she also figured out how to remove the cover, the Velcro is not strong enough, but I’m fine with that. It kept her occupied for over 25 minutes after I gave it to her. It looks well made and additional extra ball cover was a surprise. It was worth the price. We live in an apartment and unfortunately when it’s turned it make a little noise on the tile floor, I just hope my downstairs neighbor doesn’t get upset.

Fun ball for the pup

My pup loves this ball, keeps her entertained for a long time. I like the feature of stopping and then starting again when she decides to return and play. Rubber cover is perfect for playing on our lvp floors without excessive noise
