Key Highlights:

  • Compact Size:

Reaches a manageable height of just 1 to 1.5 feet, making it ideal for small spaces.

  • Glossy, Heart-Shaped Leaves:

The plant boasts lush, dark green leaves with a glossy, leathery texture that adds a rich, tropical vibe to your surroundings.

  • Stunning Spathes:

One of the standout features of the Anthurium Livium is its vibrant, heart-shaped spathes. These waxy, pinkish-white striped spathes wrap around a central pencil-like structure, showcasing tiny flowers that captivate any viewer. Each bloom lasts between two to three months, ensuring long-lasting beauty.

  • Versatile Placement:

Perfect for living rooms, offices, patios, or balconies, the Dwarf Anthurium Livium thrives in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Easy Care & Maintenance:

  • Watering:

Check the topsoil before watering; it needs to be dry to the touch. Keep the soil moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering in the winter to accommodate slower growth.

  • Light Requirement:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorching. A spot with six hours of bright, filtered light is ideal. In lower light, flowering may decrease, but the plant remains healthy.

  • Temperature & Humidity:

Prefers temperatures between 18°C to 27°C. High humidity levels (60-80%) are best. To increase humidity, mist the plant regularly or place it near a humidifier or on a pebble tray.

  • Potting & Soil:

Use a 5 to 7-inch pot with good drainage. Choose a well-draining soil mix containing cocopeat, perlite, sand, and compost, or try our specially formulated orchid potting mix. The soil should remain loose and airy.

  • pH Levels:

A slightly acidic to neutral pH (5.5 to 6.5) helps the plant absorb nutrients efficiently, promoting vibrant growth and blooming.

  • Fertilisation:

Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser. Organic options like vermicompost, cow dung manure, eggshell flakes, coffee powder solution, and banana peel water work well. Reduce or stop fertilising in winter.

Care Tips:

  • Pruning:

Keep your Anthurium Livium looking fresh by removing yellow or dead leaves. Trim spent blooms to encourage new growth. Use clean, sharp scissors to avoid plant stress.

  • Leaf Care:

Wipe the glossy leaves with a damp cloth to maintain their natural shine. Avoid using leaf shine products that may clog the pores.

  • Pest Management:

Inspect regularly for pests like aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites. Treat any infestations promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.

Common Problems & Solutions:

  • Yellowing Leaves:

Usually caused by too much sunlight or bacterial wilt. Move to a spot with indirect light and ensure proper watering.

  • Floppy Leaves:

A result of overwatering, leading to root rot or fungal infections. Adjust watering practices and ensure proper drainage.

Benefits of Dwarf Anthurium Livium:

  • Air Purification:

Known to remove toxins like formaldehyde, ammonia, and xylene, improving your indoor air quality.

  • Aesthetic Appeal:

Bright blooms paired with lush foliage add elegance and tranquility to any decor.
Year-Round Blooms: With proper care, this plant can bloom throughout the year, with each spathe lasting up to three months.

  • Low Maintenance:

Suitable for busy lifestyles, thriving with minimal care.

Safety Note:

  • Toxicity:

Contains calcium oxalate crystals that are toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Transform your living space with the exotic beauty of Dwarf Anthurium Livium. Its striking spathes and lush green foliage will make any setting feel vibrant and lively.

Note: The plants may or may not contain flowers or buds. There are chances that the buds/flowers could dry up due to transit stress even though we pack them with extreme care. The local climatic conditions and fertilization habits can affect the brightness & colour intensity of flowers. While we make every effort to match the actual colours of the flowers, the photographs may not be the exact representation, due to different monitor settings.

Absolutely top-knotch
Format: Kindle
9.5/10 This is the pinnacle of Star Wars comic books. A great way to tie in their Indiana Jones character in Aphra and the mainline series to tell an amazing story. Only complaint is a couple of the issues artwork I was not a fan of. I like the more realistic look. Just make sure you read Aphra book 1 and the previous SW books to understand it better. Aphra book 1 being more important

Star Wars embraces fantasy
Format: Paperback
This is Star Wars at its' strangest, and that's a very good thing. Luke and co. fighting through what could easily be Dracula's castle is a truly unique experience. I don't wish to say more for fear of spoilers. As a note though you will get more out of this if you've been following the Star Wars and Dr. Aphra comics. However you can get by without that knowledge as well.

Gothic Star Wars
Format: Paperback
This trade paperback collects all the issues for the Screaming Citadel story spread over several titles, including the main stay Star Wars series and the Dr Aphra book. As one might expect from a story spread over different titles with different artists and writers, the presentation varies. The art is all over the place. In the Marco Checchetto-drawn initial issue, everyone’s favorite amoral artifact hunter, Dr Aphra, is a striking space vixen. But in the following issues she’s hardly recognizable as the same character--mousier, if still menacing, in her trademark Russian tanker’s hat. To a lesser degree, the same is true for the other characters, including the main SW group. It’s understandable, but a bit disconcerting. The story centers on Dr Aphra, who, in need of a Jedi for one of her typically nefarious purposes, recruits Luke into her scheme. Unfortunately for Aphra, she’s up against a more ruthless foe in the harlequin-looking vampire-like Queen of the Screaming Citadel. Before long, the rest of the group has to show up to rescue them. It’s a gothic story, set in scary castle—not the usual Star Wars fare. There are some good points. Dr Aphra’s almost sociopathic outlook is always good for a few choice lines, the “murderous machines” Bee Tee and Triple Zero are on hand for their own gruesome commentary and some of the Queens hench-people, while not given much to do, are interestingly designed. But overall, the horror movies plotline didn’t seem much like Star Wars to me. Recommended for those who enjoy that type of story, or completists.

Luke and Doctor Aphra team up!
Format: Paperback
This is the second crossover event in the Marvel Star Wars comics. It brings the ongoing Doctor Aphra and Star Wars series together. I liked the pairing of Luke with Aphra. They play well off of each other with Luke's naive goodness and Aphra's experienced gray morality. I liked when she called him a wannabe padawan. There are some well designed characters in this comic. The residents of the Screaming Citadel have a goth bdsm vibe. Luke even gets to dress up. I liked seeing him in something different. I want to know more about Sana and Aphra's past!!! Please, Marvel, make a queer love story prequel!!! The murder droids are wonderful. Having them on the same side as the "good guys" for at least the time being led to some funny situations. The last panel intrigued me. I give this graphic novel a 4/5. I am always here for more Doctor Aphra!

Excellent mini series.
Format: Kindle
This is an excellent follow up to Vader Down. Luke Skywalker and friends take on a bigger threat than The Empire and Darth Vader that is connected to the Jedi. Luke and Dr. Aphra join forces to find the answers Like is seeking. Truly worth reading and entertaining.
