While the only species in its genera, this unusual plant sports many common names including gloriosa lily, glory lily, fire lily, flame lily, climbing lily, creeping lily, and cat's claw or tiger's claw, and more. There are cultivars with color differences, but all are essentially the same plant requiring the same care. It is a deciduous, summer-growing tuberous plant originating in Africa and Asia (from China to India). This vivid scarlet variety was named for Lionel Walter, the second Baron of Rothschild, who is credited for bringing to Europe from Africa. Grown as a perennial in mild climates (zones 8-12) and as a summer "bulb" in colder areas for its dramatic flowers. While exotic in appearance, this summer flowering rhizome is tough and easy to grow. Not a true lily, it requires little fuss, as it grows naturally in a wide variety of habitats from forests to grasslands; often in nutrient-poor soils. Please note that all Gloriosa lilies are poisonous plants, do not eat under any circumstances. This exotic looking climber will produce one to four slender stems which generally grow up to 6 feet long emerging from a fleshy, elongated tuberous rhizome in spring. Support should be provided and can be as simple as a bamboo stake or as ornate as an obelisk or trellis. The glossy emerald green leaves are generally produced alternately along the stems, but sometimes are opposite or whorled, too. Each sessile leaf has strong, parallel veins and tapers at the tip into a coiling, clinging tendril which allows this scrambling plant to climb other plants or structures. Once you try this unusual summer bloomer in your patio or terrace garden, you'll be hooked as well.

Size: X-Large, Color: Cheese
I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead. Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled. Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes. This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions. Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird. Final verdict: Not cheese. Still enjoyable. Would chew again. ~Barley

Terrific toy for puppies!
I love this dog toy! I put treats inside the soft teeth of the toy so that my puppies have to work to get them out. By doing so, they are cleaning their teeth and enjoying a mental challenge at the same time. I love watching them roll the toy across the floor as they try to figure out how to get the treats out. Adorable! And it keeps them occupied for a long time.

Nice, but easily chewed apart.
My dog loves it, but needs supervision because he can bit off bits. He's a small dog with little teeth.

JAYU PET Toothbrush Toy Dog Chew
The JAYU PET Toothbrush Toy Dog Chew is pretty cool. I used my toy poodle’s favorite toothpaste and he had a hard time really getting into the grooves. This seems like a good idea and it’s hit or miss with anything like this. My dog loved it more and tried harder when I used peanut butter. I just end up having to clean o it the grooves as he can’t get to it all. Big breeds might do better, but this is cute and could work.
