The STIHL GTA30 cordless garden pruner is the ideal handheld machine for pruning trees and shrubs around the garden and tackling small DIY tasks with ease.  

Capable of cutting branches up to 150mm in diameter, the GTA30 features a 15cm guide bar and a genuine 1/4" PM3 STIHL saw chain which gives a clean cut and the variable chain speed allows full control of the cutting speed during use.

The GTA30 is designed for quick and intuitive chain tensioning with the spring loaded mechanism under the sprocket cover. To oil the chain simply add lubricant directly onto the chain itself. 

A soft rubberised handle and upper grip helps prevent slipping during use. 

The GTA30 can be used by both right and left-handed users thanks to the rocker switch on both sides of the tool.  

The GTA30 uses two AS2 batteries which are discharged in parallel. The GTA30 cannot be used with only one battery. The charge level indicator is located on the side of the tool in an easy-to-read position and will show the charge status of the battery with the lowest state of charge when both batteries are fitted. If just one battery is fitted (in the top port), the charge level indicator can be used to show the charge level of that battery.

Using the supplied AL5-2 high-speed charger, you can quickly recharge two AS2 batteries simultaneously in 50 minutes. 

The working time of the GTA30 is up to 50 minutes or 180 cuts of 5cm diameter.

A hard case is included with the GTA30 which can be used to transport the tool. The case has space for up to six AS2 batteries and an AL5-2 high-speed charger.
