About this Collection

Your first step toward bonsai mastery! This collection includes 5 trees selected from our nursery for their suitability for shaping.

About Jonsteen's Seedlings

All of our trees are seed-grown at our nursery on California's Redwood Coast, which is inspected monthly and licensed by the California Department of Agriculture. Trees can provide a natural barrier against high winds, temperatures, noise pollution and soil erosion, all while benefiting local air quality, wildlife and property values — a Jonsteen seedling will only grow in value and beauty!

About Jonsteen's 100% Guarantee

All of our trees are guaranteed to arrive healthy and in good condition. If one of your trees perishes despite your honest efforts, we will be happy to replace it with a small-sized seedling for just the cost of shipping/handling. You can learn more about our guarantee and tree replacement policy here.

Size Charts

Seedling Size Charts

Due to the dynamic nature of actively growing trees, as well as the tremendous variation between species’ growth rates, we rely on the cubic volume of a seedling’s root mass to determine its “size” (Small / Medium / Large / XL). Within each size there is minor variance — the dimensions provided here represent the category minimum. If exact measurements are essential, please contact us about current stock.

Perfect for Summer
Color: Pink
I ordered this portable fan for a trip to the Caribbean and it was perfect. It definitely kept me cool during the heat. It's small and lightweight and it has various settings for different levels of flow. It doesn't oscillate but that's fine with me. I've brought it with me on multiple trips so I'd say it's reliable and it has great power too. The blush pink color is so cute and feminine I love it!

Compact Fan That Actually Works Well
Color: Black
This ended up being a pretty solid little fan. The biggest strength is how compact and portable it is while still putting out a decent amount of airflow. Easy to throw in a bag, keep while traveling, or use outdoors without it feeling bulky. Build quality feels decent for the price. The plastic body is lightweight but doesn’t feel especially cheap or fragile. It feels designed for portability first, which is exactly what I wanted. One thing I did appreciate was that the blades don’t hurt if they accidentally hit your hand or finger. Small detail, but it makes the fan feel less annoying to use and probably safer around kids as well. The flashlight feature is honestly whatever for me. Nice that it exists, but not something I personally needed or would buy it for. The fan itself is the real value here. Pros * Compact and easy to carry * Good airflow for the size * Lightweight but reasonably well made * Fan blades are safe and don’t hurt on contact * Convenient for travel or outdoor use Cons * Flashlight feature feels unnecessary * Plastic construction is functional, not premium * Not powerful enough to replace a larger fan Final Thoughts Overall, this is a very practical portable fan that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Compact, effective, and easy to keep with you. The extra features aren’t a huge selling point for me, but the core fan functionality works well enough that I’d still recommend it. Who It’s For Great for travel, theme parks, outdoor events, sports games, commuting, or anyone wanting a compact personal fan that’s easy to carry around.

Great product
Color: Pink
Fit in my purse and has a good battery life for as much as I use it. Enjoy that there’s two different air flows.

Perfect Wind Speeds, Size, Weight, and Price Here on Amazon Prime
Color: Pink
My wife uses this little fan when she experiences one of her occasional hot flashes. And she said it works well for these times. She also uses it when we are at an outdoor market or park when the temperature rises along with the humidity thus providing a little respite from the these conditions. She likes the size, weight, the included lanyard, and the fact that it is so quite when in use. A full charge seems to last for a two to three hours depending on the selected speed of the fan itself. There are other more powerful portable handheld fans available, however, this one seems to be the perfect compromise between air speeds, size, weight, and price.

I have 3!
Color: Pink
I love this fan! The high speed will cool you down quickly! It's great for church! ballgames! Beach! Hotflashes!!! It's very quite! You can hold it or put on a table and position it where you want. I have one for work, one at home and one in my purse. The oldest is about 4 years old and works as good as day one.
