zz plant terracotta Zamioculcus Zamiifolia / 'Zenzi' – HortiDon't sleep on the 'Zenzi' ZZZ Zamioculcus Zamiifolia 'Zenzi' is a cousin of the more common variety ZZ plant. Zenzi is a dwarf cultivar with plumper stems and leaves. The ZZ plant care starts with a lack of care! This plant loves being left alone. Beneath the plants are thick, potato like roots known as rhizomes that store water, which is why it does great in periods of draught. People often mistake this for a fake plant because of its waxy leaves.
