Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ 

Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ (PP30,035 Propagation Prohibited) has taken the houseplant world by storm! It’s no wonder why: This naturally occurring mutation of a regular ZZ plant features striking foliage. Our Plant Hunter first acquired it in early 2015, and we have been working on propagating this slow-growing beauty ever since. Raven was found in Asia (and patented by its discoverer, who has granted us exclusive rights to propagate it in North America), but the species is native to areas of Africa. Though you might not guess by looking at it, Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ is in the aroid family (Araceae) and related to trendy plants like monstera, pothos, and philodendron.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

    It's soft and good cat size. The bottom stuffing is uneven, so it leans a lot, no matter how I rotate it for the cat to try to even it out. But the old cat loves it, especially since it's positioned in a perfect spot; a "corner" by a hallway, so it feels safe, while letting the cat see everything from that out of the way vantage point. I've been trying to get him to use beds again (had to throw some out b/c he gets seizures which can result in loss of bladder control). It only took a few days for him to "discover" the new bed, and start adding it to his nap rotations. and he looks so cute in it.
