variegated Jade Plant (Crassula ovata ‘Variegata’) is a beautiful succulent known for its creamy-yellow and green marbled leaves, sometimes tinged with pink edges when exposed to bright light. It is a variegated form of the classic Jade Plant, often called “Money Plant” or “Lucky Plant”, symbolizing prosperity and good luck.

Here’s a complete explanation and care guide:

🌿 Description

  • Scientific name: Crassula ovata ‘Variegata’
  • Common names: Variegated Jade Plant, Variegated Money Plant, Lucky Jade
  • Family: Crassulaceae
  • Growth type: Slow-growing, woody-stemmed succulent shrub
  • Height: Up to 2–3 feet (60–90 cm) indoors; taller outdoors in ideal conditions

🍃 Appearance

  • Leaves: Fleshy, oval-shaped with creamy-white or yellow stripes running along the green surface.
  • Color: Variegation becomes more distinct in bright sunlight, and leaf tips may blush pink or red.
  • Stems: Thick, woody, and brown with age, resembling miniature tree trunks.
  • Flowers: Small, star-shaped white or pink blooms appear in winter under the right conditions.

🌞 Light Requirements

  • Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or 4–6 hours of direct morning sun.
  • Too little light can cause loss of variegation and leggy growth.
  • Too much intense afternoon sun can scorch the leaves.

💧 Watering

  • Water only when the soil is completely dry.
  • Overwatering causes root rot, the most common issue.
  • Reduce watering during winter when the plant is semi-dormant.

🌱 Soil

  • Use well-draining succulent or cactus mix.
  • Add perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage.

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

  • Ideal range: 18–26°C (65–80°F).
  • Protect from frost; bring indoors if below 10°C (50°F).
  • Prefers low to average humidity.

🌸 Propagation

  • Easily propagated by stem or leaf cuttings.
  • Allow cuttings to dry for a day or two before planting in well-draining soil.

🌼 Fertilizing

  • Feed with diluted succulent fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring–summer).
  • No feeding needed in winter.

Decent Snack, But Not Worth the Price
Flavor Name: Green & Kalamata, Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 5)
Decent Snack, But Not Worth the Price I was intrigued when I watched Freestyle Snacks on Shark Tank, especially since I really enjoy olives and loved the idea of having a convenient, on-the-go option. I’ll admit..., the packaging is excellent. It’s clean, well-designed, and makes it easy to toss a pack into a bag without worrying about spills or mess. That said, the cost outweighs the quality. The olives themselves are nothing special, and certainly not different enough to justify the premium price point. You can buy similar (or better) olives at your local grocery store for a fraction of the cost and portion them into zip-top bags on the days you want them. I would be a regular customer if the pricing were more reasonable, because the convenience factor is definitely there. Unfortunately, as it stands, they’re simply overpriced for what you get.

Delicious!
Flavor Name: Original, Lemon Garlic, Hot & Spicy, Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 3)
Absolutely frickin delicious! The size is good for what you get. I use a bag 3 times for salads. Very easy to keep in the fridge and open and close. I think compared to jars and other olives and the quality it is a good price. The flavor is awesome!

Tasted wonderful
One of my favourite biscuits. I was slightly disappointed that a number of them arrived broken in the package making dunking them near to impossible. They still tasted wonderful.
