Another beautiful, delicious and easy to grow lentil, Red Chief will shed their skins when sprouted to reveal a gorgeous bright orange color. Red Lentils originated in the Mediterranean region. They are known to be incredible energy boosters and are high in protein content. A benefit of consuming Red Lentils is that they help to reduce LDL cholesterol. They also help to regulate insulin.

Shelf Life: Refrigerator- 4 years / Room temperature- 6 months / Outside- 1 month

Growing Cycle: Soak 1/2 cup- 8 hours / Drain, rinse, drain / Rinse- 3 days (double rinse- 2x per day) / Maturity time- 3 days
