Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) 🤍🌿
The Peace Lily is a classic for a reason, glossy green leaves, elegant white flowers, and the kind of calm energy that instantly softens a room. Native to the tropical rainforests of the Americas and Southeast Asia, it thrives in warm, filtered light and brings that soft, fresh, spa-like feeling to any space.
This plant is more than just a looker. It’s one of the top air-purifying plants, helping remove toxins and improve humidity, ideal for bedrooms, offices, or anywhere you want cleaner, calmer vibes.
Plant Care
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. It will tolerate lower light but may bloom less. Avoid harsh direct sun.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, watering when the top inch feels dry. Drooping leaves mean it’s thirsty — it perks back up quickly.
Temperature: Prefers 18–24°C and dislikes cold draughts.
Humidity: Loves a bit of humidity. Mist occasionally or place near other plants.
Feed: A balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer keeps it blooming.
Good to Know
Air Purifying: Excellent for improving indoor air quality.
Blooming: Produces long-lasting white spathes throughout the year when happy.
Toxicity: Mildly toxic if ingested — keep away from pets and children.
Also Known As: Spathiphyllum, White Sails.
Origin: Tropical regions of the Americas & Southeast Asia.
