Many growers plant lily bulbs in the Fall. However, Spring is a great time for planting lilies. Lily “bulbs” are actually tubers composed of fleshy scales and lack a protective covering. Unlike true bulb flowers, they never go completely dormant and should be handled carefully since they loose moisture very quickly. Essentially, you can plant your new lilies anytime after the ground freezes in Spring.
Lilies are incredibly easy to grow and few garden pests trouble them. The most natural location for lilies is on sloping ground with excellent drainage. Lilies prefer to have their blooms in the sun and their roots in the shade. Try planting them among annuals or perennials that will keep their roots cool.
The general rule of thumb for planting spring bulbs is to plant two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. This means that some of our larger Bulb-Zilla lily bulbs will need to be planted 6-8 inches deeps. Plant with the roots downward and the scales upward. After planting, water well two or three times. Lilies are most effective when planted in groups of three or more. Space them about a foot apart – they will spread and fill this space in no time!
Always allow the leaves on the stalk to turn yellow and fall off as part of the lily’s natural growth process. This ensures that the bulbous underground part of the plant has gotten enough nourishment and will mean greater growth next year. Each year watch their beauty increase as they multiply!

We guarantee safe arrival of healthy bulbs, that varieties will be true-to-name, and will grow if planted as instructed, subject to the limitations described in our Shipping and Returns Policy.
We begin shipping our bulbs in mid-February through Spring. Despite what you may have heard, Spring planting of bulbs is not a bad thing, and in fact, there are many advantages to planting in Spring. Visit our Spring Planting page to learn more. Upon arriving, your bulbs and most of your perennials may show signs of growth such as green leaves and sprouts - this is okay and transportation during this time should not harm the plants.
All bulbs and perennials should be planted in your garden as soon as possible to ensure the best success. If you must delay planting, open the bags to permit air circulation and place them out of direct sunlight in a cool, well-ventilated room. Do not place the bulbs where they can freeze. If you have the space, storing the bulbs in the refrigerator is another excellent way to “hold them” prior to planting. If you choose this method of storing your bulbs, be sure not to store fruit with them, as this is detrimental to bulbs.
Plant outdoors when the ground is no longer frozen and the conditions have improved for your zone.

Asurion is a great protection plan.
Asurion is a great product. I purchased a 3-piece cordless phones in 2022 and added the Asurion protection. Just recently the phones went out. I contacted Asurion and within 2 hours I had a gift card deposited in my Amazon account. I purchased new phones with the gift card and of course added the Asurion protection. Glad we got it! And will most definitely buy it for our future products!
Great experience! We always bought Asurion Protection on a lot of our electronics to be on the cautious side. We recently had one of those electronics give out on its 3rd year, and we luckily had purchased the Asurion Protection Plan. The claims process was easy, took less than 5 minutes. I packaged the electronic the following day and dropped it off with the shipping label they gave me. I received a full refund of my product within hours of having the returned item dropped off. Protection Paid Off...Super Quick
The protection plan was easy to obtain and even easier to submit a claim. It came in very handy, especially with a device that you know is important but are uncertain if it will endure "the test of time." Knowing I had the Asurion plan to begin with made me more confident to purchase the device. When the claim needed to be filed it was a breeze and the process from start to reimbursement was super quick. Was happy to get the full paid price back and used it to buy a replacement right away. It's a no-brainer, get it with any electronics...peace of mind so worth it!

Refunded my purchase price
I purchased the "TESmart" 2 computer KVM Switch. I always get the added warranty these day for electronics and I am glad I did. It has now been 3 years and the unit has stopped working correctly. It would switch between computers but the mouse and keyboard stopped working for one of the computers. I'm not sure exactly which component stopped working because the keyboard and mouse worked fine for the other computer. I did plugged the mouse and keyboard directly to the computer in question and they worked fine. I believe the "push threw" stopped for my W11 computer, meanwhile, the W7 computer keeps trucking on.
I say all that to say this, it's worth paying a few dollars more to get that little bit of extra security on the electronics these days. Unfortunately the prices have gone up on the KVM switches, at least the ones worth buying so I am in search of a new one now.
ASURION was easy to work with. It wasn't that much of a hassle. The slight glitch I experienced was their automatic system didn't register my claim correctly. Only mistake I made was making the claim over a weekend. I would say if you make a claim do it during the normal business hours. I was able to chat with an agent during working hours and they were able to remedy the issue quickly. I did have to ship the KVM switch and its components to Asurion but they paid for shipping and once I was able to package and ship the unit back, Asurion refunded my purchase price completely with an Amazon Gift Card.
So, all in all, it's all good!
