Epipremnum amplissimum ‘Silver Spirit’ is all long-line elegance — sleek, strap-like leaves with soft silver brushing that catches the light like satin. It’s a modern, minimalist look with just enough shimmer to keep things interesting, and it grows with that easy, vining confidence Epipremnums are famous for.
If you’re building a collection with clean foliage forms and statement texture, Silver Spirit is a no-brainer. Let it trail from a shelf or train it up a pole for taller, neater growth — either way, it delivers that “rare-but-wearable” vibe without demanding a fuss.
| Position | Keep in a bright well-lit area or provide additional light. Avoid heaters and draughty positions. |
| Temperature | Temperatures above 20c will speed up growth, between 15 and 20c growth will be slow and plants can be pruned to keep compact. Long periods below 12c may cause plants to rot; dead leaves should be removed. |
| Water | Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums, potting mix should be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep on the dry side in winter. |
| Fertiliser | Weak dose regularly in warmer months. Only fertilise if you would like the plant to grow. Less fertiliser will keep plants shorter and more compact. |
| Repotting | Only when plant is well advanced in pot or mid-spring. |
| Pet Friendly | Pothos are not Pet Friendly |
May also be known as: Epipremnum amplissimum “Silver Streak”, “Silver Stripe”, Silver Streak Pothos
