The Mandarin Plant is the fancy looking cousin of the more everyday Spider Plant and is loved for its glorious bright orange stems and lush deep green upright foliage. As well as being lovely to look at this stunner is also a relatively upright compact grower, making it ideal for smaller spaces.
Chlorophytum in general as a plant species are fabulously easy to care for, making them the perfect beginner houseplant. They store water in their roots, so watering is minimal, and they can handle a variety of lighting conditions apart from direct sunlight or complete darkness.
Pair this beauty with a planter that will offset its stems, and make their lovely orange colour the focal point. Use as a tabletop statement piece or as something striking on a beautifully curated shelf.
Please note: Chlorophytum is considered toxic if consumed. Not great as a garnish on your family members or pets' food.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow this care to keep your Mandarin Plant happy & healthy.
Light: Bright Indirect light. Will tolerate low and artificial lighting.
Water: Water once the soil has dried completely to prevent root rot.
Humidity: Average to medium room humidity is sufficient.
Fertilizer: Use a well balanced organic fertilizer once a month during active growth
