How to use:
Preparation of Soil Sample
Remove topsoil to a depth of 50mm (2 inch).
Use hand fork to loosen remaining soil, removing stones and other debris.
Mix soil with water (preferably rainwater)
Preparation of Meter
Lightly abrade probe but not top, with fine abrasive paper.
Wipe with cloth or tissue.
Remove topsoil to a depth of 50mm (2 inch).

Taking a pH Reading
Insert the probe into the soil with a twisting motion.
Leave for one minute then read dial.
Remove, clean and prepare probe as previously described and repeat above by inserting the probe into a different but adjacent point to check the first reading.
Assessing the Reading
A reading of 4 to 7 = acidic soil. A reading or 7 to 8 = alkaline soil.
To reduce acidity apply 300g/m2 of ground limestone for every 1 pH increase required.
To increase acidity apply 70g/m2 of sulphate of ammonia.
Insert the probe into the soil with a twisting motion.

Definitely worth having the peace of mind of the support from the Asurion team.

So worth it - painless
I decided to get the extended warranty for my Black & Decker hand vac. When it stopped holding the charge, I reached out to Asurion. First of all, I love how I don’t have to search through papers and emails to try to find my warranty. It’s right in my Amazon purchases. They immediately started a conversation via text message with me. It was so straightforward to get the information to them. Then they sent me a return label, then Bada Bing, Bada Bang, I sent back my malfunctioning hand back, and they sent me an Amazon gift card. I use the gift card to purchase a New Hands back because I can’t live without it. Everything went so smoothly and it was so quick I highly recommend it for any electronics that you rely on and you would replace if it became inoperable.
