Recaro SR-7 KK100 Sport Seat – Kamui Red x Kamui Red
Overview
The Recaro SR-7 KK100 Sport Seat is a reclining performance seat developed by Recaro Japan to deliver the ideal balance of daily comfort and motorsport-inspired driver support. Designed for enthusiasts who want improved stability during spirited driving without giving up practicality, the SR-7 remains one of Recaro’s most versatile and widely respected sport seat platforms.
The KK100 trim features an exclusive Kamui Red x Kamui Red upholstery combination, offering a bold interior upgrade while maintaining the grip, durability, and premium feel expected from authentic Recaro materials.
Construction & Design
Reclining Sports Seat Platform
Unlike fixed-back bucket seats, the SR-7 KK100 includes a reclining backrest, making it well suited for street-driven vehicles where comfort and adjustability are essential. Recaro’s step-less recliner system uses dial-type adjusters on both sides, allowing precise backrest positioning.
Ergonomic Shoulder & Side Support
The SR-7 is engineered with pronounced shoulder support and aggressive side bolsters to stabilize the driver under cornering loads. This design reduces unwanted movement and enhances vehicle control during high-performance driving.
Long & Deep Seat Cushion
A long, deep seat base provides extended thigh support and improves comfort on longer drives. This balance of support and usability makes the SR-7 equally capable for daily commuting and weekend track use.
Rubber Mat Suspension System
Recaro incorporates a rubber mat suspension structure within the seat base, designed to improve ride comfort and vibration absorption while maintaining a stable, connected seating feel.
