Permanent Supply of Greens! Grow Your Own Hearty Bloomsdale Spinach (3g)

Plant your own emergency spinach garden with our Bloomsdale Spinach seeds from Patriot Seeds.

These seeds are 100% heirloom and Non-GMO, chosen with care for your body and your garden. Each seed is dried and sealed in an airtight package for proven longevity. You can count on these seeds to remain viable for at least 5 years.

And don't worry about leftovers - our robust, re-sealable packaging makes it easy to save any remaining seeds. This way, you'll be able to keep growing your spinach crop for seasons to come. Ready to start growing your own food? Choose Patriot Seeds!

How to Plant Your Bloomsdale Spinach

  • Bloomsdale Spinach likes plenty of sunlight.
  • Plant your seeds about 1/2 inch deep and spaced approximately 1" apart as soon as the soil is ready to be worked in the spring.
  • Organize your spinach patch in rows, leaving 12 to 18" of space between each row.
  • As the seedlings start to grow, thin them out so there are 2 to 6" of space between each plant.
  • If you've begun with seedlings indoors, wait until 3 to 6 weeks before the last spring frost to transplant them outside.

Keep in mind, spinach needs regular watering for optimal germination and to prevent early seed production, known as bolting.

Harvesting Your Bloomsdale Spinach:

Harvest your spinach leaves once they have grown large enough to eat. Make sure to pick them before they start turning yellow. When harvesting, use a knife to make a cut below the plant's crown.

Food of Our Ancestors—Proven through Thick and Thin

Did you know spinach gained its popularity in Europe in the late 12th century? This plant was initially referred to as "Persian greens" due to its origin.

Outstanding Book
Format: Paperback
Great book, a classic that seems more timely now than ever! First read Dr Akbar’s book years ago and bought this updated edition to replace the copy someone borrowed & never returned (another sign of a good book when they don’t get returned). So glad to have this new copy to revisit the deep wisdom and insights Dr Akbar lays out. He explains the painful & persistent psychological & sociological chains of slavery clearly and irrefutably. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to better understand why it’s so hard to heal the terrible wounds of slavery — even today, even generations past physical shackles....

Quick & Informative Read
Format: Paperback
I only called it a “quick read” because when I get warped in a book, I lose track of time. This is one of those books. Quite an easy read. Recently Purchased the other books that were recommended with this one.

Format: Paperback
This book is a game changer in that it takes an in-depth look at the lingering and undeniable effects of slavery on the psyche of today's African Americans. It is thought provoking and thorough and a must read for those seeking to understand the why's of what's happening today in the lives of many African Americans and how it correlates to the savagery of slavery.
