anthurium green savannah Anthurium 'Green Spider' | PlantsWe bought these as 'Red Spider' but when they arrived it was clear they were some form of unknoqn hybrid. We have renamed them imaginatively to 'Green Spider'. Water: Maintain consistently moist soil, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the potting mix drains well. During cooler months, reduce watering frequency to match the plant's slower growth rate. Light: Prefers bright, indirect
We bought these as 'Red Spider' but when they arrived it was clear they were some form of unknoqn hybrid.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight may cause leaf scorching, while too little light can slow growth. Positioning the plant near an east or north-facing window is ideal.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments, ideally between 60% and 80%. Regular misting, using a humidifier, or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water can help maintain the desired humidity.
Temperature: Favours warm indoor temperatures, ideally between 18°C and 26°C. Protect the plant from drafts and sudden temperature changes, as it is sensitive to cold. Ensure indoor temperatures do not drop below 15°C to maintain healthy growth.
