Description
live indoor plant Stromanthe 'Triostar' 6" PotStromanthe Triostar is one of the most dramatically colored houseplants you can own. Its long, lance shaped leaves are painted in a bold three tone combination of deep green, cream, and vivid magenta pink with rich pinkish purple undersides that flash color every time the leaves shift in the breeze. It is a statement plant in the truest sense, and like its Calathea and Maranta relatives, it moves its leaves throughout the day in response to light.

Good for beginners? It requires more attention than basic plants. Stromanthe Triostar prefers consistent humidity, filtered water, and indirect light to look its best. It rewards growers who pay attention to its environment.
Safe for cats and dogs? Yes. Stromanthe is non-toxic to pets, making it safe for homes with cats and dogs.
Light needs: Bright indirect light keeps the pink and cream variegation most vivid. Direct sun will scorch the leaves and fade the colors. Medium indirect light is tolerated but reduces the intensity of the pink tones.
Care at a glance: Keep soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered or distilled water to prevent brown leaf tips. High humidity is important — mist regularly, use a pebble tray, or place near a humidifier. Feed monthly in spring and summer.
Ships fresh from one of our two greenhouse locations in a nursery pot. Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee — if it arrives damaged, we replace it. Free shipping on orders $149+.
