This superb and easy-to-grow spider lily hails from the Mexican state of Guerrero, but was granted US amnesty in 1986. Hymenocallis maximiliani makes a 3' tall x 3' wide clump, similar in size to Hymenocallis 'Tropical Giant', but with much narrower, glossy green foliage. For us, Hymenocallis maximiliani begins flowering in June and continues through July. Each 3' tall flowering stalk is topped with several huge, white, spider-like flowers composed of a central white cup and narrow white sepals that extend 7" tip to tip. Hymenocallis maximiliani thrives in moist rich soils but is incredibly tolerant of all but the worst drought conditions...a splendid and very floriferous garden plant.Shipping Notes

Definitely for a Baby
This little Pooh is as described and definitely for a baby. I had hoped to gift it to an adult but upon receipt, I realized while it is a lovely gift for a baby, it would not relate well for an adult. The ears crunch and there is a sweet rattle inside. It’s very soft and a baby would find it comforting.

Perfect size even for college graduates
It is so cute, bells inside and the ears have the paper crinkle sound.
