Hoya carnosa ‘Pink’ is a stunning trailing houseplant known for its waxy green foliage and clusters of star-shaped, pink, and fragrant flowers. A popular variety of the classic Hoya carnosa, this plant combines lush evergreen leaves with delicate pastel blooms that release a sweet, honey-like fragrance in the evening. Perfect for hanging baskets or trained on a trellis, this Hoya adds elegance and charm to any indoor plant collection.
Features:
-
Glossy, waxy green leaves with vining growth habit.
-
Produces clusters of soft pink, star-shaped flowers with a red center.
-
Flowers are highly fragrant, especially at night.
-
Long-living and easy to care for once established.
Care Tips:
-
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. A few hours of gentle morning sun encourages flowering.
-
Watering: Allow soil to dry out between watering. Hoyas prefer to be slightly under-watered rather than over-watered.
-
Soil: Use a well-draining mix (cactus mix with added perlite or orchid bark works well).
-
Temperature: Prefers warm, humid environments; avoid frost.
-
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced, diluted houseplant fertilizer to encourage flowering.
The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
