An early interest in art beginning at a young age spurred Chihuly to pursue a long and varied artistic education. Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1941 the artist grew up there and studies Interior Design at the nearby University of Washington. After his graduation he enrolled in the country first glass program at the University of Wisconsin. In 1968, he received a Fulbright Scholarship to study glass blowing at the renowned Venini glass factory in Venice, Italy. A the Venini factory, Chihuly was exposed to the team approach to glass blowing that he would go on to incorporate throughout the rest of his career. He later went on to study and receive his second master’s degree from the widely respected Rhode Island School of Design. After his graduation, Chihuly was asked to create and head the school’s first glass department. During this time, he also maintained his Washington roots by beginning the Pilchuck glass school near Stanwood in 1971. It was here he first began significantly pushing the envelope of glass sculpture. He began creating the indoor and outdoor artistic installation which would later go on to become a hallmark of the artist’s work.
During 1971, Chihuly also opened his first exhibition in New York. The work showcased designs influenced by Navajo blanket patterns. The Native American population of the Northwest would go on to play a landmark role in Chihuly’s work, as he would also go on to create a series inspired by their basket work. This famous series known as Baskets and Cylinders was showcased in 1978 at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. After this exhibit, Dale Chihuly’s career really began to take off. By 1980, he was showcasing in installations, one man shows, and art exhibits around the world including ground breaking shows in Israel and Brazil. In 1983, Chihuly began using more color and abstract shapes in his glass work. His Seaforms were the first to showcase these new techniques. Throughout the 1980s, Chihuly’s glass work expanded both literally through its immense size, and figuratively through its new techniques.
Chihuly’s multitude of artistic experience and knowledge has made him able to combine elements of many disciplines to create a truly one of a kind aesthetic. The weaving technique he uses in many of his glass sculptures is taken from his earlier educator in interior design. Similarly, he also credits his interior design background in being able to conceptualize a three dimensional work and its relationship with the space it occupies. Since the artist experienced a shoulder injury in 1979 and is no longer able to blow glass himself, the artist’s experience in painting and drawing has aided him in showing his team of glassblowers his final vision. His drawings and paintings used in this process have become famous works of art that are prized among museums and collectors. Recently, the artist’s love of the outdoors and botany has propelled to a number of world famous garden and greenhouse installations. Most famous of these is his iconic “Glass House” he created in his home state of Washington. The long and impressive career of Dale Chihuly has been characterized by his willingness to take influences from unexpected places. By training in a range of mediums, Chihuly is not only a great artist but a well-rounded one as well. His unique glass work entered him into the social consciousness, but his skill in other mediums as well as his ability to combine influences has set him apart and added diversity and longevity to his body of work.

Extremely comfortable
Color: 02-multicolour (4-pack), Size: X-Large
These are by far the softest and most comfortable underwear I have ever owned. The leg portion absolutely does roll up as so many others have mentioned, however, I did not find that to be uncomfortable at all just annoying that they don’t stay in place.
I bought these specific underwear to see if it would help alleviate HS symptoms at all. They have definitely helped with wicking moisture away from the skin. More time will tell if it’s truly helpful for HS. For now, I will recommend these. They are thin, breathable, butter soft, wick moisture comfortable and I would buy again…maybe in a different style next time. I have washed them several times and they seem to be holding up rather well so that is also of supreme importance given the cost of the item.
Again, I would recommend this item and plan on purchasing more in a different style very soon.

Eaten by my Thighs
Color: 04-multicolour (4-pack), Size: X-Large
I wanted to love them. Sadly they have let me down.
Pros: natural breathable fabric , super soft and comfortable, cotton panty gussets for feminine health and panty liners will stick!! Yay:). And the colors! They are great!
But here’s the Con. And it’s the con of all cons.
THEY RIDE UP!! Eaten by my thighs. I’m 5’6” and in the general area of 175. I fluctuate depending on how many times I visit the bakery! :) I don’t have a thigh gap but it is not a super tight thigh squeeze. I seldom have thigh climb but these do. I tried two different sizes to see if that made a difference. Nope.
I was miserable at a recent theme park in these. I was wearing long heavy dresses and it was quite awkward to yank these legs down non stop.
They feel amazing and they have all the requirements
1. Soft
2. Comfortable and stretches with you
3. Breathable with nice thin fabric. Not bulky
4. Natural fibers
5. Great colors
If you are a person that is not blessed with Thunder Thighs, please order these. They are great! I wear them at home and to locations that I will not be doing a lot of walking at. I have washed them so many times and they look like new still.

Best Boxer Briefs for Women!
Color: 09-multicolour (4-pack), Size: Large
I rarely give 5⭐️’s but these deserve it! Hands down, the most comfortable material, stitching, waistband, moisture wicking and overall comfort. They sit right beneath my bellybutton, they wash and dry well and they’re sturdy. I have tried 3 styles and these are the best.

Super soft and comfortable!
I haven't bought new underwear in forever. I used to wear thongs, but now find them incredibly uncomfortable. The last few times I've tried to buy new underwear, the sizing was either way off (I'm a medium, but gave up after having to return them for a large and then extra large) or the quality was horrible (two brands stretch waaaay out and they can fall down while wearing them (I have larger ass-ets, so they shouldn't start to slide down during use). I tried these after buying some bamboo pyjamas and I love them! They are incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I can use them all day, and they work well, whether I'm lounging on the couch or wearing them under my spandex shorts at the gym, they don't ride up or slide down. They are both comfortable and look sexy, while providing support in all the right places. I haven't had them too long, so I can't speak on the durability, but they appear to be of good quality and I plan to order more, this time without the band.

Well made, light fabric. Waist doesn't roll.
These bamboo underwear really do keep you cool.
They fit true to size, and wear easily. the wide elastic waist band doesn't roll on me.
They are comfortable to wear, washed and dried easily.
The material has some stretch to it, but not a lot.
Well made, no stray strings. Perfect fit for me.
Just what I was looking for.
