Pea Snap Super Sugar seeds are an excellent choice for home gardeners and small-scale farmers who value sweet, crisp harvests and reliable garden performance. This improved snap pea variety produces slender, plump pods that are stringless, tender, and full of flavor—perfect for eating fresh, steaming, or adding to stir-fries. Its tall, vigorous vines thrive in cool-season conditions, producing high yields over a long harvest window.
Ideal for trellising, Super Sugar Snap performs best in fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture and full sun exposure. The plants are resistant to powdery mildew and other common pea diseases, making them a dependable option for organic and sustainable gardens. As a legume, peas enrich the soil by fixing atmospheric nitrogen, benefiting companion crops and improving overall soil health.
Whether you're planting in early spring or aiming for a fall crop, this snap pea brings sweet flavor, productivity, and ecological benefits to your garden. Expect harvests in approximately 62 to 70 days, with vines that can reach over 5 feet tall when supported.
