All this on incredibly sturdy stems that reach up to 3–4' the first year, 5–6' the next year and upwards to 6–8' in three years! This rapid growth comes in part from the Lily Tree’s unique ability to offshoot new stems from a single bulb. It’s almost like planting a lily flower shrub!
Carefree and easy to grow, Lily Trees are ideal for planting at the back of borders or the corner of beds where their massive height can be fully appreciated. They are excellent visual anchors that will help define your landscape. Bright green foliage forms a magnificent backdrop for other lilies as well as other perennials
This collection includes three bulbs each of the following six varieties:
- Orange Planet: There’s no missing these fantastic, 7" lilies with their warm orange colour and vivid yellow-orange edging.
- Purple Lady: Large, purplish-pink flowers on tall and very sturdy stems. Flowers have a green centre and each petal shows a cream midrib.
- Corcovado: Huge, golden-yellow blooms top strong, extratall stems. Soaring to 8' tall by its third year, Corcovado makes a wonderful focal point or back border planting.
- Pretty Woman: Spectacular, pure white blooms of impressive size start out pale yellow with a soft pink rim. Makes a lovely addition to any landscape.
- Conca d’Or: Bright lemon-yellow lilies lighten to a creamy, buttery hue at the tips—a subtle yet sophisticated colouration in a sunny garden space!
- Friso: The outward-facing, trumpet-shaped, 7½" blooms have waxy petals that are coloured an elegant raspberry red with white tips.
