Targeted UV & Far-Red Power: Mars Hydro ADLite Supplemental LED Bars for Advanced Grow Setups

The Mars Hydro ADLite UV 27W + IR 15W Supplemental LED Bars Combo is designed to enhance advanced indoor grow setups by adding targeted ultraviolet (365–370nm) and infrared far-red (730–745nm) wavelengths. These bars are not standalone grow lights — they are precision spectrum boosters built to work alongside high-output LED fixtures (500W+).

What’s Included

  • 2 × ADLite UV 55 bars (27W each)
  • 2 × ADLite IR 30 bars (15W each)
  • Plastic mounting racks
  • Hanging ropes

Why Add UV & IR to Your Grow?

  • UV (365–370nm): Encourages production of secondary metabolites such as flavonoids and resins, supporting plant defense mechanisms and enhancing flower quality.
  • IR / Far-Red (730–745nm): Penetrates deeper into plant tissue, promotes stem elongation, and can assist in accelerating flowering cycles in photoperiod-sensitive plants.

Important: ADLite bars are supplemental lighting tools and should be used in combination with a full-spectrum LED grow light.

Ideal For

Growers running high-output LED systems (500W+) who want to fine-tune spectrum for bloom optimization, canopy penetration, and advanced cultivation strategies.

Specifications

  • Spectrum: 365–370nm (UV), 730–745nm (IR)
  • Coverage: 4ft × 2ft
  • Power Consumption: 27W ×2 (UV), 15W ×2 (IR)
  • Voltage: AC100–277V
  • Frequency: 50/60Hz
  • Dimensions (per bar): 35.43 × 1.31 × 1.16 inches
  • Operating Temperature: -20°C to 35°C
  • Lifespan: 25,000 hours

Compatible Pairings

Designed for embedded mounting on Mars Hydro FC EVO, FC, FC-E 6500/8000/1000W/1200W series. Can also be suspended with ropes alongside SP 6500 or compatible third-party LED grow lights.

When & How to Use UV and IR Supplemental Lighting

UV and far-red (IR) lighting are advanced spectrum tools designed for experienced growers looking to optimize flower development, canopy structure, and plant stress response. These bars should be used strategically and in moderation.

Using UV (365–370nm)

  • Best applied during late vegetative or flowering stages.
  • Encourages production of secondary metabolites and resin development.
  • Run in short intervals (1–3 hours per day) to avoid plant stress.
  • Always avoid direct human eye or skin exposure.

Using IR / Far-Red (730–745nm)

  • Can help accelerate flowering in photoperiod-sensitive plants.
  • Often used at "lights off" transition to trigger faster phytochrome response.
  • Promotes stem elongation and deeper canopy penetration.
  • Use carefully to prevent excessive stretching.

Pro Tip: Supplemental spectrum is most effective when paired with high-intensity full-spectrum LED systems (500W+). Always monitor plant response and adjust duration gradually.

Important Safety & Usage Notice

UV light can be harmful to eyes and skin. Avoid direct exposure and never look directly at illuminated diodes. Use protective eyewear when operating UV lighting.

This product is a supplemental lighting tool and is not intended to replace a full-spectrum primary grow light.

Has Potential, Poorly Executed
Format: Kindle
I really really wanted to enjoy this book and was looking forward to reading it. However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.

Secrets, Seduction, and Rockstars!
Format: Kindle
Rockstars, secrets, and off-the-charts chemistry? Sign me up! Cinder Blaze takes us on a rollercoaster of passion and peril with Knot Their Omega. Blair Vesper, a secret Omega masquerading as an Alpha, strikes a risky deal to tour with Blooming Salvation, a band teetering on the edge of chaos. Enter Icarus Morrigan, the enigmatic manager, and his three complicated and irresistibly sexy rockstars: wild Kenji, icy Kaiser, and fiery Nathaniel. This book delivers steamy Omegaverse drama, sizzling slow-burn romance, and just the right dash of angst. The tension between Blair and the band crackles like electricity onstage, while the societal stakes add depth to the spicy dynamics. Short, sharp, and oh-so-sinful Knot Their Omega will have you hooked from the first note!

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
