The variegated watch chain, also known as ‘Crassula lycopodioides variegata, is a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant succulent known for its intricate, chain-like stems and soft variegated coloring.

This plant stands out due to its unusual texture, resembling delicate, interwoven links or a miniature cascading chain. It grows well in containers, hanging planters, or as part of mixed succulent arrangements.

Native to South Africa and Namibia, the plant’s most distinctive feature is its densely packed, tiny leaves that tightly cover thin stems, creating a soft, textured, almost moss-like appearance.

In the variegated variety, these stems display subtle color variations, often shifting between green, yellow, and cream tones depending on light exposure.

As it grows, the stems may trail or spread outward, making it suitable for both upright and cascading displays.

The variegated watch chain succulent remains relatively small, typically growing up to 12 inches tall, with a spreading or trailing habit that can extend further over time

Under ideal conditions, it may produce tiny, pale yellow or greenish flowers, usually in spring or summer. While the flowers are not particularly showy, they can attract small pollinators such as bees when the plant is grown outdoors.

When it comes to care, this Crassula plant is simple but requires attention to drainage and light. It thrives in well-draining, sandy, specialized succulent soil that prevents excess moisture

buildup. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as overwatering can quickly lead to rot.

Indoors, it prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F and bright, indirect to direct light for several hours daily.

Outdoors, it grows best in USDA zones 9–11, where it can receive full to partial sun. It tolerates low humidity and prefers a light NPK feeding once a year in spring with a 5-10-5 ratio.

This Crassula succulent benefits from occasional pruning to maintain shape and encourage fuller growth.

Its ability to grow in compact spaces, trail elegantly, and display subtle variegation gives it a refined, almost artistic quality. It is especially valued in modern indoor decor and succulent collections for its distinctive appearance.

Great ball for heavy chewers
Style: Assorted Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Great toy for my Doberman. She chews through tennis balls in about 15 minutes but these are very durable. She likes to chase them but also just chew on them.

My dog loves glowing fetch at night!
Style: Glow Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Fantastic. Sturdy. My dog loves them Glow in the dark is great for fetch at night. I keep a flashlight with me because the glow doesn't last really long. But they charge very quickly and are really bright.

Indestructible
Style: Fetch Balls (Pack of 2), Size: 3 inch
These balls are indestructible! We have a lab and a lab mix and they CANNOT damage these balls. They love them for fetch and to just chew on them (slightly squishy, but NO damage). Best toys we have bought for them.

Great trial set. Just be careful throwing the orange one!
Style: Assorted Balls (Pack of 3), Size: 2.5 inch
Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it. Orange is easy to see in the grass at day They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.
