Details: Live Aquarium Plant Seeds for Freshwater How to seedling? There are two ways to seedling. Seedling in moisture and Seedling in Water First of all, we suggest you make a detailed plan of the aquarium you want, like where to place rocks, low grass, high grass,cliff, woods.. A: Seedling in moisture(Recommended) 1.Put the wet mud,sand or other fundamental element and rocks,wood and other decor as you planed. Scatter the seeds on the right places. Mind the density. Dont cover the fundamental elements with water. Or else they will float. 2.Keep the air temperature inside the tank 25-28℃, if necessary, with an halogen light or other heater for them to sprout. Spray some water 1-2 times each day to keep them moist. 3.After 3-5 days, Some start to sprout and green sprout can be seen. But certain light or sunshine is still necessary because leaves need power to grow. 4.On day 10-12, add water slowly to fill the tank and then run the circulation pump. Keep the water temp around 25℃ 5.On day 15-20, most mini-leaf grass will come to 0.6'' high, and finish growing. Or Long Hairgrass reaches about 5''. After 1-2 days, put the fish inside. B: Seedling in water 1. Put the wet mud,sand or other fundamental element and rocks,wood and other decor as you planed. Scatter the seeeeds on the right places. Mind the density. Then cover them with a thin layer of mud to prevent them from floating. 2. On day 2, fill the tank with water very slowly to prevent impact, Or else they will float. Then run the circulation pump and filtering 3. Keep the temperature of water around 28℃ 8-12 hours each day, with a aquarium heater. 4. On day 5, they sprout and grow some tiny leaves. 5. On day 15-20, most mini-leaf grass will come to 0.6'' high, and finish growing. Or Long Hairgrass reaches about 5''. Now you have a soft grass blanket.
