ORCA introduces a collection of stoneware pieces for the garden handbuilt by Ren Ceramics in Ojai, CA.
Sculptural planters with tactile striations that echo the topography of coastal California shrublands. Hand-built from stoneware, these planters are characterized by irregular edges, lending organic form to garden environments.
Available in three sizes: Large, Medium, and Bonsai. The first two are well suited for medium-sized plantings or function beautifully left empty as outdoor sculpture. The Bonsai Dish can be used as a planter for small-scale, shallow plantings or as a drainage plate. Available in two glazes — Off-White and Soft Black.
Ren Ceramics is the ceramics practice of Ren von Hasseln. With a background in architecture and biology, Ren uses the handbuilding method to create large-scale ceramic works.
Made in Ojai. Each planter is made by hand, so form, texture and dimensions will vary.
