Echeveria runyonii is a Mexican succulent native to rocky cliffs, discovered in the wild by Yucca Do Nursery in 1990 and named in honor of Dr. Runyon, who brought a Mexican garden specimen into the US in the early 1900s. Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' is a unique winter-hardy form that makes a 6" tall x 10" wide offsetting rosette of thick silver-blue leaves that are recurved upward and slightly contorted. Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' was named by former Huntington Gardens director and succulent guru, Myron Kimnack. Dry soils and good drainage in winter are key to survival in cold climates. Our plants of Echeveria 'Topsy Turvy' survived unprotected at 7 degrees F, when kept bone dry.

Great books! Hope there are more!
Format: Paperback
My 10 year devoured both books 1 & 2 in two days! She loves them so much and can’t stop talking about them. She is telling all her friends they HAVE to read them! I’m sure she will read them again and again. Thank you Sylvia Douye!

Amazing and inspiring
Format: Paperback
As a young transgender person this book fills me with a lot of hope for my future. I relate to his story so much. He gives me hope that one day I can medically transition even if it’ll be difficult. I would suggest this book to transgender people who are 14 and older. And if you read this one make sure to read the second one!

Really Wanted to Love This Book
Format: Paperback
I grew up in a time where there were very few LBGTQ books and I felt very much an anomaly. I heard great things about this book and wanted to read it. I found the book to be written super simply and not adding much to the conversation. I am glad it exists but it was super simplistic and it really doesn’t add much to the conversations around transitioning. It might be a great book for a kid just starting to figure out who they are. I left this book in a free library in a public space in hopes it gets read by someone who needs the message.
