Philodendron billietiae is loved for its long, wavy, strap-like leaves and vibrant orange petioles that bring a bold, tropical feel to any space. It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers to be watered when the top inch of soil has dried, staying consistently moist but never soggy. High humidity (60%+) keeps the foliage lush, so consider a humidifier or pebble tray for best results. Plant in an airy, well-draining aroid mix and fertilize monthly during spring and summer to support healthy growth. As a climbing philodendron, it grows beautifully when trained up a moss pole. Keep in warm conditions (65–85°F) and away from cold drafts, and note that it is toxic if ingested, so place with care around pets and children.
