Great used as a fresh or dried cut flower adding a saturated shock of color in both forms.

Transplant. Sow indoors 6 weeks before last frost date. Plant out once threat of frost has passed. Slow growing at first before taking off and producing a large, central cockscomb with abundant, smaller auxiliary flowers. Can be grown similar to strawflower.
