Description:
Philodendron 'Imperial Green' is a striking tropical foliage plant admired for its broad, glossy, lime-to-deep-green leaves and tidy, upright growth habit. Unlike climbing philodendrons, this variety is self-heading, meaning it grows from a central rosette and does not vine, making it ideal for compact indoor spaces or well-sheltered outdoor spots in warmer months. It thrives in humid conditions and prefers indirect light, with its large leaves creating a lush, architectural presence. Known for being low-maintenance, it is a favourite among indoor plant enthusiasts and interior stylists alike. In Melbourne, it is best suited to indoor growing or a protected patio environment during warmer seasons. While it doesn’t flower often, the foliage remains its primary attraction throughout the year, providing consistent tropical appeal.
