The All-in-One Travel Companion

Parenthood is full of journeys – some short, some long, and some that feel like an adventure before you’ve even left the driveway. The Bugaboo Fox Cub Maxi-Cosi Travel System in Desert Beige is designed to make those everyday outings feel effortless. By pairing the versatile Bugaboo Fox Cub pushchair with a choice of trusted Maxi-Cosi infant car seats, this bundle gives you everything you need for smooth strolls, easy car rides, and seamless transitions between the two.

Built for Bumps, Kerbs, and Everything in Between

Let’s face it, life doesn’t always happen on smooth ground. From cobblestones and gravel paths to unexpected kerbs, the Fox Cub takes it all in its stride. Thanks to all-terrain wheels and clever suspension, your little one enjoys a comfy, nap-friendly ride while you steer with ease. Tough but lightweight, it’s the kind of pushchair that feels solid without making you feel like you’re pushing a tank.

Snug for Newborns, Spacious for Toddlers

The Fox Cub is ready to go from day one. In the early months, your newborn can stretch out in the roomy carrycot, complete with Bugaboo’s PureBreeze™ mattress for extra comfort. As your baby grows, the supportive seat comes into play – with a five-point harness, adjustable recline, and the option to face you for bonding or outwards to explore the world.

Parents aren’t forgotten either. An adjustable handlebar means pushing is comfortable whether you’re tall, small, or somewhere in between. And let’s not forget the roomy under-seat basket – with space for up to 10kg of shopping bags, nappy kits, snacks, and toys, it’s basically your extra pair of hands.

Choose Your Maxi-Cosi Car Seat

The real beauty of this travel system is the flexibility it gives you when it comes to car seats. Each Maxi-Cosi option is i-Size approved, offering the very best in safety standards, but with slightly different features to match your lifestyle:

  • CabrioFix i-Size – A reliable lightweight classic. Easy to carry, straightforward to install, and perfect if you want a fuss-free option that gets the job done without adding extra weight. Ideal for parents looking for value and practicality.

  • Pebble 360 – Designed to save your back and your patience, this car seat can rotate a full 360° when paired with the FamilyFix 360 base (sold separately). No more awkward twisting to buckle in your baby – just swivel, secure, and go.

  • Pebble 360 Pro² – The deluxe version. Alongside the 360° spin, it works with Maxi-Cosi’s SlideTech™ base (sold separately), which lets the seat glide right out of the car towards you. It’s the easiest way to get your baby in and out, especially when they’re snoozing.

Whichever car seat you pick, each one can be clicked straight onto the Fox Cub chassis with the right adapters – making the switch from car to pushchair smooth and stress-free.

Folding Made Easy

We know pushchairs can sometimes feel like wrestling with an octopus – but not this one. The Fox Cub folds quickly and neatly, whether you’re using the seat or carrycot. Choose a slim two-piece fold when space is tight, or go for the one-piece self-standing fold for those moments when you need to park it quickly. Either way, you’ll be packed away before you know it.

Why Parents Love This Travel System

The Fox Cub Maxi-Cosi Travel System combines Bugaboo’s practical pushchair design with Maxi-Cosi’s car seat expertise, giving you a bundle that covers all bases. It’s versatile, stylish, and built to keep your little one safe, comfortable, and happy from their very first day right up until toddlerhood. In short: less faff, more fun.

More of the same
Format: Kindle
I haven’t read X-Men comics in years, but decided to dive back in as a supplement to all the Marvel Cinematic buzz. The plot seems like standard X-Men fare. The weakness of the comic medium, particularly for characters like the X-Men, is the holding pattern of the status quo that the characters are constantly suck in. I’m not sure if this series will deliver a clever twist on it yet. The dynamic they are setting up with the downtrodden Sentinel manufacturing town is interesting, as is the implicit aspiration of the X-Men to replenish the land itself. I am enjoying the team composition and the gorgeous art. They decided to crucify Wolverine again and it looked cool as ever. Juggernaut’s costume, too, is incredibly drawn.

Great new beginning
Format: Kindle
This story hits all the right notes for a 1st issue, with new mysteries and new characters. Love the team, with stalwarts like Beast, Wolverine, and Cyclops. Looking forward to more!

Krakoa is gone, but a new era begins!
Format: Kindle
I was pleased to see this was not a reboot but a continuation in the aftermath of the Fall of the House of X. MacKay certainly started off this new run on the right foot, ending with intrigue and introducing potentially new big bads. Excited to throw my money at Marvel in the months to come.

FROM THE ASHES… ?
Format: Kindle
As a longtime comics enthusiast and certainly a faithful fan of Marvel’s mightiest man, there’s something left to be desired of the 70s into 80s era of X-MEN that marked its genius. Chris Claremont is legendary in his scope and his indelible style that helps make the X-Men something of flesh and bone that jumped off the page. Unfortunately that hasn’t been properly passed, and the torch hasn’t landed in the hands of creatives who can really capture that spirit. It’s hard to recognize any of these characters, or connect with their situation. This group of X-Men and their mission (whatever it is) are uninteresting, uninspired and lacking any authenticity. Interestingly written, the art has some textured, but the story isn’t engaging. I really wanted to like and support this “all-new, all-different” direction, but I can’t. This is not for me.

Revenge for a fallen emperor, redemption for a fallen warrior
Format: Kindle
The crimson empire saga is the story of kir kanos, last of emperor Palpatine's crimson clad imperial guardsmen. It is a story of revenge and redemption, as over the course of the trilogy Kanos grows and changes in ways he'd never have expected. I did especially like his changing relationship with Mirith Sinn, and how her arc is a fitting mirror to his own. I also liked the villain of the first series. Jax, and I wish he had stuck around for the rest of the trilogy. The rest of the villains throughout the trilogy are far less memorable than jax, but I suppose that's the problem when you make sequel to whats unseemly a self contained story. Of the three series contained here, the first series is by far the best. It's quite self contained, and any knowledge of the universe at the time is explained quite well. It's also the simplest, Kanos wants Jax dead, and Jax wants Kanos dead. The second series is abit of a mess, with an overly complicated plot and a good deal of unseemly wasted page count on the random side characters that don't advance anything. In particular I'm thinking of the hutt character, as well as the mystery hooded figure who doesn't actually come into play at any point in the saga. Perhaps he comes into play in some later star wars story, but in this it reeks of a dropped plot line. The third and final series is a worthy sequel to the first although the scenes with Han solo also seem unnecessary. I did like the ending of the saga, even though I would have referred a bit of a more definitive ending in terms of certain character relationships. The art of the saga get progressively better with each series. In the first series it's still reasonable good, but some of the faces and body proportions are bit weak. By the third it's really good if standard comic art. The fight scenes are well done throughout, and the ship battles are a great to see. In conclusion, I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good revenge story. Don't worry about the context of this in the greater star wars saga, the most pertinent information is explained well enough, in my opinion. As long you have seen the star wars movies and remember who the emperor is, your good.
