Display your new Tenuifolia (Middle), Funckiana (Left) and Argentea Thin (Right) air plants in hand-blown glass teardrop-shaped terrariums complete with smooth black stones. Artistically hung in groups of three, or placed on a table with their flat bottoms, these teardrop terrariums are sure to be a conversation piece.

These plants have been selected because they are a little, well, different from the traditional ionantha air plant. Tenuifolia, a South American native has unique stacked leaflets that appear to spiral up the plant's main stem. Tenuifolia sends up a pink and purple bloom spike far away from the surrounding foliage. Funckiana is known to grow in wild, corkscrew patterns with thin silvery leafs also wrapped closely to its stem. When in bloom, Funckiana touts a bright orange blossom. Argentine thin is quite different from the other two, its leaves are thin and wispy and tend to hold the center of the air plant above the stones. It reminds us of a daddy long leg spider.

Air plants are low maintenance plants requiring just weekly misting or quick soaks to keep them hydrated. Hang or set your teardrop terrariums in bright, indirect light for best results.

This set includes three hand-blown teardrop terrariums, river stones, and of course the three air plants, each separately wrapped and labeled.
