brasil philodendron scandens Philodendron Scandens 'Brasil'Philodendron Scandens Brasil is the cousin of the classic Heartleaf Philodendron, with bright yellow green variegation that splashes down the centre of each glossy, heart shaped leaf. Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this is a fast growing, trailing plant that can happily climb or cascade depending on how you style it. It loves bright, indirect light (too much sun can fade its colours), and prefers the soil to dry slightly
Philodendron Scandens ‘Brasil’ is the cousin of the classic Heartleaf Philodendron, with bright yellow-green variegation that splashes down the centre of each glossy, heart-shaped leaf. Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this is a fast-growing, trailing plant that can happily climb or cascade depending on how you style it.
It loves bright, indirect light (too much sun can fade its colours), and prefers the soil to dry slightly between waterings. It’s also unfussy about humidity, though it’ll grow faster and lusher with a little extra moisture in the air.
Easy to care for and quick to fill a space, this Philodendron is perfect for shelves, hanging pots, or climbing up a moss pole. We always have one or two in the shop, they’re a customer favourite for a reason!
