Boron is one of the rarest elements, but it is essential for calcium metabolism in plants. Even if your soil is high in calcium, your plants will not be able to utilize it unless adequate boron is available. Most boron in the soil is in the form of tourmaline, which is highly insoluble. Biomin Boron Concentrate is 100% chelated with amino acids, improving the absorption and transport of calcium throughout the plant. 

Biomin Boron is designed to prevent and correct boron deficiencies and boost crops during critical or fast-growing periods. It may be applied with nitrogen fertilizers.  Benefits of Biomin Boron include increased elasticity of cell membranes, reduced fruit cracking and splitting, improved flowering and fruit set, and aid in sugar accumulation in fruit.

Biomin Boron can be applied to fruit trees, field crops, vegetables, greenhouse crops, potatoes, grapes, citrus, and ornamental gardens.

Biomin Boron with Crystalization: Crystalization can naturally occur due to the organic nature of this product.  Crystallization does not harm the plant or impact the performance or efficacy of the nutrient. These bottles have a small amount of crystal sediment.

DIRECTIONS:

For best results, apply when plants are in an active growing stage, after irrigation or rainfall. For foliar application, dilute it with at least 100 times water.

SOIL APPLICATION

Biomin Boron can be applied before or at planting through irrigation water, as banding or broadcast. The application rate is 1 qt. to 1 gal./ac. (2.5-10 l/ha) depending on crop, soil conditions, and application methods. For maintenance, 1 qt./ac. (2.5 l/ha) is recommended. Dilute with enough water to cover the entire acre.

FOLIAR APPLICATION

FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 1-4 pt./ac. (1.25-5 l/ha) when crops are 6-12 in. (15-30 cm) in height or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat application 2-4 weeks later.

FRUIT TREES AND GRAPES: Apply 1-4 pt./ac. (1.25-5 l/ha) starting at bud break or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application 2-4 weeks later.

VEGETABLES AND POTATOES: Apply 1-4 pt./ac. (1.25-5 l/ha) at about 2-4 weeks after emergence or if deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application 2-3 weeks later. In greenhouses and plastic tunnels, the application may be repeated every week or every other week.

ALMONDS, WALNUTS, PISTACHIOS, AND OTHER NUT CROPS: Apply 1-4 pt./ ac. (1.25-5 l/ha) before bloom. Repeat the application if necessary.
