Philodendron 'Fresh Aurea' (White Princess Aurea Tricolor) | Fast EU shipping | Grown with love in the EU | Not pet-safe
Summary: Philodendron ‘Fresh Aurea’ enchants with creamy marbled leaves splashed with green and white, offering a stunning, rare statement piece for bright European homes and plant collections.
✨ Why You'll Love Philodendron 'Fresh Aurea'
- Show-stopping variegation: creamy yellows, crisp whites, and deep greens elegantly marbled
- Large foliage adds immediate visual impact—perfect for living rooms and bright offices
- Rare and collector‑worthy, yet surprisingly easy to care for
- Air-purifying aroid that enhances indoor air quality
- Soft glossy texture makes it a tactile and visual delight
🌞 Light & Placement
Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation. Avoid direct sun to prevent scorching. Ideal near east or west-facing windows with filtered light.
💧 Water & Humidity
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feel just dry. Enjoys higher humidity (60 %+); mist leaves or use a pebble tray to keep foliage lush.
🪴 Soil & Potting
Use a rich, well-draining aroid mix with peat or coco, orchid bark, and perlite. Repot every 1–2 years to refresh nutrients and manage growth.
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children to ensure safe display.
🌱 Growth & Propagation
Grows on aerial roots and a compact climbing habit. Propagate easily via stem cuttings—each node can form a new Philodendron 'Fresh Aurea'.
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
Growth slows in winter; reduce watering and maintain room temps above 18 °C. Gently wipe leaves to keep them dust‑free and vibrant.
🐛 Common Issues
Watch for spider mites in dry air and yellowed leaves if overwatered. Ensure balanced moisture and airflow to prevent issues.
🧬 Botanical Background
The ‘Fresh Aurea’ form of the White Princess tricolor is a rare variegated Philodendron featuring luxurious three-tone patterns. Aroid collectors and European plant lovers prize it for its elegance and decorative impact.
