Plant Care
Light: Place in bright, indirect light to partial sun. Direct sunlight may cause leaf burn, so filtered light is ideal.
Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly. Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows.
Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix to prevent waterlogged roots.
Temperature and Humidity: Average room temperatures are suitable (around 65-75°F or 18-24°C). Maintain moderate humidity levels; mist occasionally if the air is very dry.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
Pruning and Maintenance: Trim leggy or unruly stems to encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves promptly.
Propagation: Propagate from stem cuttings placed in a well-draining soil mix. Allow cuttings to callous over for a day or two before planting.
Pests: Watch for common succulent pests like mealybugs or spider mites. Treat infestations promptly with appropriate insecticidal soap or neem oil.
