Chewings Fescue is mostly utilized as a turfgrass for overseeding greens, but is also well-suited for lawn applications across North America. It performs best in well-drained soils and is more drought resistant than bluegrass. Chewings Fescue has a slower growth habit that makes it desirable for low maintenance areas.

Chewings Fescue grass seed can be used in mixtures without becoming too aggressive.
