- This is a grafted cactus with a green Hylocereus root stock with a bright pink Gymnocalycium mihanovichii on top. The grafted 'Moon Cactus' on top have no chlorophyll which exposes the pink pigmentation. These cactus can only survive because they are grafted onto a Hylocereus cactus with normal chlorophyll.
- Hardy to Zone 10 (30° F). Gymnocalycium will not survive a hard frost. However, cactus can easily be grown indoors under grow lights or in a sunny window if there is a risk of temperatures dropping below 30° F. If there is only a risk of freezing temperatures for a few days, most succulents do just fine outside if they are covered by frost cloth or a sheet until temperatures increase (I'm talking to you, Zone 9 friends).
Gymnocalycium Care: As with all cactus, it is best to follow a "soak and dry" schedule where you water your plants deeply (until water runs out the bottom drain holes), and then allow your soil to dry completely before watering again. Cactus should always be planted in well-draining cactus and succulent soil and in a pot or container that has drain holes.

Tough to destroy for aggressive chewers

My doggie chewed out stairscase, the sofa, my shoes, and would destroy anything labeled pet “tough” toys. This stopped her from destroying!! Soo cool and cleans her teeth too. I got this one as gift for other retriever fams! Super cool. Doesn’t smell bad and its lightweight but durable like crazy.
