Plant Description:

Introduce graceful beauty and air-purifying benefits into your space with the Spider Plant from Lakewood Plant Company, a classic member of the Chlorophytum family. Originating from South Africa, this versatile plant captivates with its arching leaves and cascading foliage. Whether showcased in homes, offices, or contemporary interiors, it's not just a plant; it's a symbol of resilience and natural elegance.

Elegant Foliage:

Experience the elegant foliage of the Spider Plant, characterized by its long, arching leaves adorned with slender stripes. Its cascading foliage and vibrant green color create a sense of movement and tranquility, making it a versatile choice for any room.

Air-Purifying Abilities:

Beyond its decorative appeal, the Spider Plant contributes to a healthier indoor environment by purifying the air. Studies, including those by NASA, have shown that Spider Plants can effectively remove toxins such as formaldehyde, xylene, and carbon monoxide from the air, promoting a cleaner and fresher atmosphere in your home or office.

Care Tips for a Happy Spider Plant:

  • Adaptable Growth: Flourishes in a variety of conditions, from bright, indirect light to low-light environments. Its resilience and adaptability make it an ideal choice for both novice and experienced indoor gardeners.
  • Watering Needs: Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings, then water thoroughly. Spider Plants prefer slightly moist soil but are susceptible to root rot if overwatered.
  • Propagation: Spider Plants are prolific growers and can be easily propagated by dividing the offsets, or "spiderettes," from the mother plant. This allows you to expand your collection or share with friends.

Spider Plant Well-Being Signals:

  • Brown Tips: Indicates underwatering or exposure to dry air; increase humidity levels and adjust watering habits accordingly.
  • Leggy Growth: Occurs when the plant receives insufficient light; move to a brighter location to encourage compact growth.
  • Pups (Spiderettes): Spider Plants produce offsets, or "spiderettes," which can be left to grow on the mother plant or propagated to create new plants.

Pet Friendliness:

Create a pet-friendly environment with the Spider Plant, which is non-toxic to pets and safe for households with animals.

Common Pests and Problems:

While generally resistant to pests and diseases, keep an eye out for spider mites and aphids. Treat promptly with insecticidal soap if infestation occurs.

FAQ:

Is the Spider Plant easy to care for?

Yes, the Spider Plant is known for its low-maintenance nature, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced indoor gardeners.

Can the Spider Plant be grown in water?

Yes, Spider Plants can be grown in water, either as houseplants or in hydroponic systems. Just ensure that the roots are submerged in water and change the water regularly to prevent stagnation.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
