Monstera Deliciosa Variegated – A Classic Beauty with Stunning White Streaks
Monstera Deliciosa Variegated is a highly sought-after statement plant, featuring bold green leaves marbled with white variegation. Its iconic fenestrations (natural leaf holes) give it a dramatic, tropical presence.
Bold Foliage That Defines Tropical Elegance
- Each leaf displays unique splashes of white, cream, and green.
- Fenestrations become more pronounced with maturity.
- A fast-growing climber with strong aerial roots, perfect for moss poles.
How to Keep Your Monstera Thriving
- Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain variegation.
- Watering: Let the top 2 inches of soil dry out before watering.
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+).
- Soil: A well-aerated mix with orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss.
- Fertilization: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every 6 weeks.
Propagation for Expanding Your Collection
- Stem cuttings in water root within 4-6 weeks.
- Air layering encourages stronger root growth before cutting.
Common Growth Issues & Solutions
- White variegation turning brown? Avoid direct sunlight and overwatering.
- Leggy growth? Needs brighter light and climbing support.
- Slow growth? Increase humidity and apply a mild fertilizer.
With its stunning variegation and lush tropical appeal, Monstera Deliciosa Variegated is a showstopper in any plant collection.
