Moringa aka Tree of Life - Tropical Super Food Heirloom Seeds
Moringa oleifera
Listing is for 1 packet of 15 seeds

Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing subtropical, drought-resistant tree. Common names include moringa, drumstick tree, and horseradish tree. Leaves are typically used to make a caffeine-free tea. The leaves can also be dried and blended into powder form so it can be added into smoothies. The leaves are considered a super food, as it is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and high in plant based protein. It also contains all eight essential amino acids. Moringa contains 7x the Vitamin C found in oranges, 4x the calcium of milk, 4x the Vitamin A of carrots, 3x the potassium of bananas and essential trace minerals such as iron and zinc. Does best in zones 9 and warmer as it is a tropical plant. It is very fast growing and the leaves/branches are used for "chop and drop" garden practices and composting. The leaves can be soaked for a few days in water and then blended to make an all natural fertilizer. Can also be used to feed chickens.

The tree can get up to 40 feet high at maturity. It is common to cut the tree down to its trunk to make it continuously put on new growth.

PLANTING & GROWING
Germination: 1-4 weeks, it takes a long time to germinate because of its hard shell. Soak in water for 24 hours before planting into a a larger sized container filled with seed starting mix. Use a heat mat to speed up germination.

Seed Sowing Depth: lightly cover with soil, about 1/2 inch

Sowing: Start in doors 2-3 months before your last frost date. This is a subtropical plant and it does not tolerate weather below 40 degrees Fahrenheit well. It is perennial in zones 9 and warmer. If your in a colder zone, then bring in doors for the winter.

Sun: Moringa grows best in full sun but can handle some partial shade

Soil: Moringa is not picky when it comes to soil and will grow well in poor soils like my native Florida sandy soil

Water: Does not like growing in water logged soil as this will cause root rot. Once established, mature moringa trees are very drought tolerant and survive my natural rain fall cycles here in Florida without me having to water it.

Cold Hardiness: Moringa is a tropical plant and does not grow well in the cold. It is cold hardy (if grown outdoors) down to USDA garden zone 9.

Harvesting the Leaves: Young tender new growth are the best leaves to harvest if eating fresh. Older leaves get tough. Commercial moringa farms harvest every 2-3 weeks which encourages the plant to constantly be putting on new growth. Harvest leaves before bad storms or hurricanes. Otherwise the strong winds will defoliate the trees and you will loose the harvest.

Using the Leaves: Moringa leaves are excellent as an ingredient to make compost or can be used as a green maure/mulch around plants. Moringa leaves can be used to me a liquid fertilizer for plants (see my video linked below). The leaves can also be dried for longer storage. Once dry, the leaves can be blended in a blender to turn into a fine powder which is easy to add to drinks like smoothies.

Pruning/Cutting Moringa Trees: Moringa will grow to a tall tree, over 30FT tall which can make harvesting difficult. It is highly reccomended that you hard prune the tree down to your height so harvesting is easy and it keeps the tree compact in size. Literally cut the tree at the trunk. Trust me it will grow back.

Just Right! Made in the Ukraine!
Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt, Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt
Great product! I doubled this up with Siless Sound Dampening material as well. I did a double layer of this insulation on the ceiling (same as in your home, more insulation up top) and single throughout the rest of the car, in my effort to turn my CUV into an interior camper for winter snow storm chasing! Looks great, easy to install, and I got to support the Ukraine! (I was leaning towards Kilmat products but they are made in the Russian Federation... with everything going on right now, it was a no brainer) Only downsides is (1) that you need to be really careful while handling it, because the stickiness WILL stick, (to your fingers) and if you handle it too much, you will pull some of that off. As long as you are careful there, you will be ok. (I personally cut the pieces to size/ smaller the better for tight spaces/ putting up behind other lines/hoses in the car... and then for the 2nd layer, I made sure I overlapped the seams so that there was no gap where the heat would escape through). Second Downside (2) is that I need a little bit more, but not a whole roll more worth... 50 sq ft would be better for what I needed it for, but whatever - I am being nitpicky at this point. Overall, Great Product/Looks Great/ I HIGHLY Recommend!

Works
Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt
We used it on the inside of a jeep hard top. So far no complaints. The glue sticks. We were worried about the 110° temps and so far so good

High quality, super sticky, very effective
Style: 30 sqft
As long as the surface is thoroughly cleaned, these mats will stick to just about anything. They provide my car with a tremendous amount of sound dampening and have made riding in the car 10 times more enjoyable. I drive a Toyota Yaris and although the engine is built like it's meant to last forever (imagine that), the rest of the car is not of high quality. Which means we used to get A LOT of noise coming from the road, other cars, etc. After I installed these mats which, by the way, I wasn't able to install on every surface I wanted to install them on (due to lack of tools to be able to disassemble certain parts of the interior), the noise coming from outside the car is nearly completely gone. I covered the underside of my hood, the entire interior part of the hatchback, most of the floor in the trunk / spare tire well, and the entire interior side of the doors. The parts I couldn't get to (or didn't want to) were: the ceiling, underneath the driver & passenger seats, behind the dash and the floor for the 2nd row seating. As you can see I left a lot of surfaces untreated with this product AND STILL it blocks most of the sound. To note: people recommended getting the roller tools to help install these mats. I got a few of them in different sizes and they worked O K. Not because of the quality of the tool but because some places you need to install these mats in don't have enough clearance to use the tool. That being said, for the larger surfaces, the roller tools help a lot. Also I found it very beneficial to use aluminum tape while installing these. The tape I used is specifically designed for materials that undergo high temperature changes (like your dryer vents, etc.). This wasn't because the mats were not sticky enough but because there were some places I installed the mats with small gaps between them. I'd also recommend getting some kind of fluffy insulation-type material for large spaces that need noise dampening. Rock wool, for example, worked great for me. As an example, the interior sides of the 2nd row seating walls had large spaces between the plastic interior cover and the metal part of the car wall. I'd install the mats on the metal but was left with 6" - 7" of space between it and the plastic cover. I chose to fill those spots (and spots like it) with insulation which provided EVEN MORE noise dampening.
