"Germination Process
Seed Selection:

Purchase high-quality Portulaca seeds from a reputable supplier.
Sowing Seeds:

Timing: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost, or sow directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed.
Soil: Use a well-draining seed-starting mix. Portulaca thrives in sandy or rocky soil.
Planting Depth: Sprinkle the seeds on the soil surface and lightly press them in. Do not cover the seeds with soil as they need light to germinate.
Watering: Mist the soil lightly to keep it consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Germination Conditions:

Light: Place the seed trays in a bright location with plenty of indirect sunlight.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature of 70-85°F (21-29°C).
Germination Time: Seeds typically germinate within 10-14 days.

Growing Seedlings
Transplanting:

Once the seedlings have at least two sets of true leaves and the danger of frost has passed, they can be transplanted outdoors.
Harden off the seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week.
Choosing a Planting Site:

Light: Select a spot with full sun. Portulaca requires plenty of sunlight to thrive and bloom.
Soil: Ensure the soil is well-draining. Portulaca prefers sandy, gravelly, or rocky soils.
Planting:

Spacing: Space the plants 6-12 inches apart to allow for proper air circulation.
Planting Depth: Plant the seedlings at the same depth they were growing in their pots.
Care and Maintenance
Watering:

Portulaca is drought-tolerant and prefers dry conditions. Water sparingly and only when the soil is completely dry.
Mulching:

Mulching is not necessary for Portulaca, but a thin layer of mulch can help retain soil moisture and control weeds.
Fertilizing:

Portulaca does not require much fertilization. A light application of balanced fertilizer in the spring should suffice.
Pruning and Deadheading:

Deadheading spent flowers can encourage continuous blooming and keep the plant looking tidy.
Pruning is generally not necessary unless you want to shape the plant.
Pests and Diseases:

Portulaca is relatively pest and disease-free. Keep an eye out for aphids or mealybugs and treat them as needed.
Tips for Success
Companion Planting: Portulaca pairs well with other drought-tolerant plants like sedum, lantana, and agave.
Self-Seeding: Portulaca can readily self-seed. If you want more plants next season, allow some flowers to go to seed.
Wildlife Friendly: Portulaca attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies, making it a great addition to a pollinator garden."

Came in skeptical, but it's GREAT!
I read all the bad reviews I could on this thing and considered it an acceptable risk considering the price. Assembly was easy and the instructions were fair. Not amazing, but once you handle the edger, the gist is clear. I was skeptical overall that the horsepower and plastic guard weren't going to be enough. I ran it for nearly 45min stopping every 5 or so to check the blade and guard. It stayed tight and I was able to manually turn the blade to make sure it was working right. My front yard and sidewalk have been neglected for a few years. I would sometimes edge it out with the weed Wacker, but couldn't get it as clean as I wanted without breaking a LOT of line. When I was done, I noticed the guard had a lot of soil and grass buildup that I was able to take out easily with my fingers. There were a few times I scraped the sidewalk edge, but the blade is still solid and ready for more! I was surprised at the quality and as you're going over an area, it feels solid and not squirly or out of control. My uses are going to be mostly suburban maintenance on my own yard. If I had more land or something bigger, I would consider something larger. For my yard and purposes, this edger is going to work just fine! Did not notice any issues with the blade getting loose, but stayed aware of it. There is a lock nut that keeps it in place. I imagine over time and switching blades, this is going to lose its locking function, but I already see amazon has replacement blades that come with new lock nuts!

Works great, easy assembly and no issues!
Using the weedeater for edging was too hard, so I purchased this. It works great! It was easy to assemble and easy to use. My lines are perfect, but the size, durability, and power of this gem get the job done, and it's lightweight enough that I can easily maneuver it around the yard. I chose a corded one so I don't have to deal with battery life or charging.

Does the job without many frills.
Color: Sand, Size: Queen
Looks like it would be warm and cozy. Looks good on the bed and is a decent cover. I can't speak to durability and so forth, was recently purchased and used. The price was about what I paid for my own micro mink sherpa comforter and the ones I own are thick and fluffy and super warm. This isn't the same quality, had I paid more attention, I'd have bought one like mine in the tan. Seems fair though so let's see.
