DESCRIPTION
The Mosquito plant, commonly known as citronella or Pelargonium citrosum, is a perennial grass-like plant valued for its mosquito-repellent properties. It produces citronella oil in its leaves, emitting a strong citrus scent that deters mosquitoes. Care involves well-draining soil, regular watering to maintain soil moisture, and providing 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. While it's a popular choice for its potential mosquito-repellent effects, effectiveness may vary. The Mosquito plant is easy to care for and offers a pleasant citrus fragrance.
