These pots have a removable self-watering drainage reservoir for extra protection against overwatering. The black plastic insert sits inside the pot creating space between the bottom of the pot and the soil, effectively allowing the soil to drain completely of water instead of remaining waterlogged. This build-up of water creates a reservoir system which will then be reintroduced back into the soil slowly and keep the plant from drying out.
Manufactured from durable plastic, this pot is more sustainable than single-use plastic and will not rot like wooden planters, making it longer lasting and perfect for indoor or outdoor use.
