The Chinese fan palm is relatively slow growing, typically reaching about 30 feet in height (Figure 1). Its fan-shaped, costapalmate leaves can be 3 to 4 feet across and up to 6 feet long. Water thoroughly then allow soil to dry slightly between waterings. Water less in winter when growth has slowed, you would need to water it frequently to keep it thriving. I followed the size guide and ended up with an item that was to large in all areas. It did not fit like a slim fit. The fabric is odd and does not feel great against the skin. I love the design. I really wish it would have worked.
