Philodendron hastatum 'Silver Sword' is a stunning climbing araceae plant famous for its characteristic silvery blue foliage and the elegant sword shape of its leaves, making it one of the most sought-after Philodendrons due to its unique metallic coloration.
- Light: Provide bright, indirect light to maintain the distinctive silver coloration. East-facing windows with filtered light are ideal. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F) with consistent warmth. Avoid cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
- Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity levels of 50-70%. Use humidity trays, room humidifiers, or group with other tropical plants to maintain adequate moisture.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil begins to dry. Use well-draining, aerated potting mix.
