Soil: Fast draining, porous soils. Growth Pattern: The small leaves are highly variegated in whites, creams, pinks and greens. The flowers are small, brilliantly red and resemble an origami bird. The stems grow tightly packed at the base and fan out in a zig-zag pattern. Mature Size: 3'-4' wide and tall. Attributes: A very colorful addition to a dry garden or indoor addition. The flowers resemble red origami birds and can adorn the plant profusely, but the mottled colors of the leaves are the year round show. A excellent specimen plant for indoors or outdoors. Known by many names-this Euphorbia tithymaloides variegata is almost indestructible and is considered a friendship plant in that stem cuttings root readily making it easy to share with others.
