Lavandin ‘Sussex’ is a striking, large-stature lavender grown for its long, sturdy stems and refined, photogenic color. This vigorous cultivar produces generous flower spikes held high above the foliage, creating strong vertical interest in the garden and exceptional material for harvesting.

As the flowers develop, they move through a beautiful color range—from deep violet calyces and violet-blue corollas to a softer mid-violet tone. This subtle shift gives ‘Sussex’ a graceful look that blends easily with many garden palettes and photographs beautifully in the field.

Blooming from mid-July through August, ‘Sussex’ brings color at a time when many perennials are slowing down. The long stems are ideal for fresh bouquets, lavender wands, and craft use, while the sweet fragrance attracts pollinators and perfumes the garden.

BEST USES

  • Fresh bouquets

Perfect for liquid
This sponge is not made for liquid but I use it for my liquid foundation. The sponge won't last as long when it gets wet but it still lasts a LONG time! I put a drop of water on sponge first then dab a few times on my arm to dry with only a slight hint of moisture left (very dry feeling)... then add a drop of makeup (literally). The coverage is awesome and your makeup last 2 to 3x as long. Flawless finish. Love it! I recently updated my review...I still have same awesome sponge. Now I also mix a silicone air brush liquid (clear) to the liquid makeup it spreads farther and the finish is wonderful. Great product stays dry and drys very quick after use.

Love this product!
I’ve used this product for a long time. It’s nice and soft and works well on my skin. I wouldn’t use anything else.

Its OK, but not nearly as easy to use as videos and reviews make it seem.
I ordered this flocked sponge based on reviews and on watching JI videos of applying pure pressed powder with it. I tried it 'damp' and it was awful mess! I tried it dry, and no powder was transferring to my face at all. I'll stick with my ELF blurring brush to apply JI pressed foundation (which I love).

Jane Iredale sponge applicator
I’ve bought this for years and I find there the easiest and best way to even out your make up. I like them better than brushes.

Great to keep your dog entertained
Color: Blue
Great toy my 13 month old cane corso absolutely loved it and it kept her entertained forever except she has an extremely strong bite so she was figuring out a way to split it apart so I had to take it away -it’s extremely strong, but not strong enough for the bite of a cane corso but any other dog would love it. I just wish my dog didn’t have such a strong bite and would be able to keep enjoying it since it is a little expensive the only problem with it is that I thought the remote shuts it off, but then her bites were making it come back on, so I don’t know if it was my dog or the toy just doesn’t stay off until you turn it on.
