At nine months old, I was adopted, but I spend the majority of my childhood not knowing this. on my way to adulthood I experienced a lot of traumatic things, mostly from my father. At the end of my adolescence, I’d come to a point of complete hopelessness. I was on my way to addiction, sexually promiscuous, deeply depressed & numb. I had come to the point of choosing to end my own life. #BUTGOD broke through the darkness & used this point of brokenness to meet me & change me. Through a sequence of events He brought me to salvation, moved me out of my home & into a Christian family, opened the doors for me to study His word at Christian University and He adopted me as His own. It has taken a while for me to trust Him and fully surrender to His will, but He has been faithful and patient with me along the way. The cross has freed me. Jesus paid my debt & by His blood, I am made new- day by day washed white as snow.By the power of the Holy Spirit, I can now walk in the freedom that my Savior bought for me. The freedom to finally surrender & trust my heavenly Father. The freedom to walk in His ways & not my own. The freedom to no longer live under condemnation. Hallelujah! . . . Megan has now completed her time in the program & chose to remain for an extra year in the school of ministry. She is now married, serving the Lord with her husband in California & they are expecting their first child in May. She daily continues to learn & grow through the power of His Word that saved her!
